A Bit About Me

April is a Clinical Psychologist based in Adelaide, working out of a few locations and practices. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with honours and a masters degree in Clinical Psychology. She is endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist and has undertaken additional supervised placement for an additional two years. She has been consulting for over 6 years working in private and community based settings. April endorses evidence based practice and has contributed to clinical research with two current publications. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the Clinical College. Furthermore, she is also registered with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is looking to build a practice based around her core values and to meet the specific needs of each individual. She enjoys working across a broad range of presenting problems including: depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, trauma, phobias, perfectionism, eating disorders, sleep problems, self esteem, grief & loss, chronic pain, IBD related problems, stress management, learning difficulties and sports psychology. In her free time April enjoy’s being physically active and playing sport, cooking and travelling.

I am looking to build a practice based around my core values to meet the specific needs of each individual. I cover a broad range of presenting issues including: depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, trauma, phobias, perfectionism, eating disorders, sleep problems, self esteem, grief & loss, chronic pain, IBD related problems, stress management, learning difficulties and sports psychology. In my personal life I enjoy being physically active, playing sport, cooking and travelling.

I have a special interest in working with children as well as adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and chronic health problems. I am a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder assessor and conduct assessments as requested.
